     Five ointment jars with lids, from the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Egyptian Collection. Three are in Egyptian alabaster, two in obsidian with sheet gold.  From the 12th Dynasty, ca. 1887-1813 BC, from El Lahun, tomb 8, chamber E.

Moving Bass Ackwards

     UPS is apparently experimenting with time travel.  While I'm all for experimentation in the private sphere—especially for the purpose of improving customer service—the least they could do is move in the right direction.  I'm hoping that this is an early experiment.
